Simon Rivett
Simon Rivett graduated from Goldsmiths College, London, in 1984: in 1993 he moved to the Hebridean island of Lewis, where he now lives and works. From initial drawings made in the rich varied landscape of the Western Isles, he produces paintings in oil or watercolour, inspired particularly by the wide expanses of moorland and the rugged ancient coastlines of the isles. He has shown in many group and solo exhibitions in the North East of England and Scotland. Simon first showed with Woodbine in 1998.
