Michael Kelly

Michael graduated from Coventry University in 2004. He works primarily with oil paint and charcoal, painting his figures to scale or larger. During the development of his current body of work, he has become fascinated by the presence of the figure on the canvas and the relationship between it and the viewer. The figure can appear isolated, unwilling to engage with its audience.
