Lukas Kasprowicz

Lukas Kasprowicz was born in south east Poland, where he lived and studied until moving to London seven years ago. Art has always been present in his life, especially during his architectural studies in Poland; where, inspired and encouraged by his grandfather, his passion for art developed into experiments with painting. In London, Lukas studied painting at Central St. Martins.

The presence of the human subject, whether depicted with exaggeration or merely as a vague reminiscence of the body, is often an integral part of Kasprowicz’s works.
