Juliet Holton

Juliet Holton studied Fine Art at Norwich School of Art and Design. Since graduating in 2007 she has exhibited widely, including in London, Newcastle, Oxford and Cambridge. Her work now features in many collections. In 2009 Juliet gained her Masters degree at Wimbledon College of Art.

Her work is expressionist, focusing on the process of painting. Working in a variety of paint media Juliet pushes the boundaries of her materials. Spontaneity is key; she deliberately avoids any pre-meditated idea of a finished result, but explores chance and accident through manipulation and control. Juliet's compositions are the products of experiment and the stilled effects of the movement, reactions, and sometimes turbulence of the process of painting.
