David Hollinshead

Born in Lincoln, David studied painting and graphics at Lincoln and Harrogate schools of Art. Since leaving Harrogate he has worked in advertising as an illustrator and visualiser, but now freelances. In his own work, he is fascinated by colour and design. Glowing light contrasts with rich depths of shadow to illuminate a detail or figure in his landscapes and interiors. He has exhibited widely in Lincoln, the East of England, London and Germany.
