Catherine Headley

Catherine trained at Bath Academy of Art and now lives in Rutland. Her oils are inspired by the wild beauty of West Penwith in Cornwall; the effects of Atlantic weather on the sea or on lichen covered granite cliffs. A member of the Leicester Print Workshop, she produces collagraphs which tell of Cornwalls ancient past, of standing stones and pagan marks. Other works reflect her love of colour, tribal art and hieroglyph. Catherines work is held in many private collections in the UK and abroad.
