Ceri Auckland-Davies

Ceri Auckaland-Davies trained at Dyfed and Newport Colleges of Art. Now living and working in Cardiff, he creates coastal scapes of luminous intensity, utilising the semi-transparent nature of egg tempera to paint water with depth and fluidity, or light-suffused surf. West Wales has always inspired his paintings, but personal vision engenders striking compositions that are universal records of sea and coastal imagery. He has exhibited regularly throughout the UK and internationally since 1993. A member of the Society of Egg Tempera Painters, the work of Ceri Auckland-Davies is to be found in many collections.
